It would seem to me that the only way to get an honest report on 911 is to redact the Government. Start fresh and examine all the obviously illogical components eg. BBC reporting WTC7 falling before it did, and the engineering reports showing temperatures insufficient to produce structural failure from jet fuel. A quote I vagely remember goes 'if everything is impossible then whatever remains, no matter how unlikely, is the truth'

Phony flier says Virginians vote on different days

RICHMOND

A phony State Board of Elections flier advising Republicans to vote on Nov. 4 and Democrats on Nov. 5 is being circulated in several Hampton Roads localities, according to state elections officials.

In fact, Election Day, for voters of all political stripes, remains Nov. 4.

The somewhat official-looking flier - it features the state board logo and the state seal - is dated Oct. 24 and indicates that "an emergency session of the General Assembly has adopted the follwing (sic) emergency regulations to ease the load on local electorial (sic) precincts and ensure a fair electorial process."

The four-paragraph flier concludes with: "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but felt this was the only way to ensure fairness to the complete electorial process."

No emergency action has been taken by the General Assembly. It is not in session and lacks the authority to change the date of a federal election.

State Board of Election officials today said they are aware of the flier but disavowed any connection to it.

"It's not even on our letterhead; they just copied the logo from our Web site," said agency staffer Ryan Enright, noting the flier has been forwarded to State Police for investigation as a possible incident of voter intimidation.

Election officials did not specify in which Hampton Roads localities the flier had been spotted.

State Police are aware of the complaint and are looking into it, said spokeswoman Corinne Geller.

In 2007, the General Assembly passed a law making it a Class 1 misdemeanor to knowingly communicate false information to registered voters about the date, time and place of the election or voters' precincts, polling places or voter registration statuses in order to impede their voting. The measure is one of the few such deceptive voting practice laws in the country, according to the watchdog group Common Cause.

The Scumbags Know That Their Days Are Numbered...

I highly recommend BradBlog - Brad Friedman is a true patriot, along the lines of a Bev Harris. He is in touch on a number of issues; foremost in my readings is the issue of vote fraud. I've read VoteScam by the Collier brothers, and I've lived the vote scam of the last eight years by the Bush Administration (not to mention the chicanery of the Clinton Administration eight years beforehand...but I'll admit to being a political neophyte for that period).

I ran across a posting at BradBlog in regards to voter's rights, and encountered in the comments to that article a despicable individual who goes by the label of Terminator..."Termy" is an individual of ill breeding who stated that "Crackheads are more prone to vote for Obama."

Imagine that.

"Termy" is working for an MBA.

An MBA, in my personal opinion, is the MOST USELESS DEGREE IN EXISTENCE.

I'll tell you why (reposting from the original rant):

No two businesses are the same, and it takes someone who knows how certain industries are run to make a business flourish.

I've seen too many instances (many in PERSON) where some douchebag with an MBA comes in, changes a bunch of rules (the 1st rule in every idiot manager's handbook is to CHANGE SOME RULES), and then good employees get disgruntled, they quit, and the business GOES TO HELL.

All because some douchebag with an MBA thinks that ANY BUSINESS CAN BE RUN LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS.

So...just look in the mirror, pal...and say to yourself,"I'm barely one step on the evolutionary ladder above a crackhead, so maybe I should keep my stupid mouth shut."

I'm going to perform some due diligence on this, but I'm willing to surmise that the creation of the MBA degree coincided with off-shoring of manufacturing jobs in the United States - thus proving my conjecture that the MBA is indeed not only the most useless of degrees, but that it also begat the end of prosperity of WE THE PEOPLE.

Update: I started ranting on this very subject (MBAs) with some YOUNG people, and they began finishing my sentences for me...the very ones you see above.

The Best Democracy Money Can Buy - Must Reading!

I decided to put down Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes for the moment; I had just finished Dedication.

Good stuff - I guess gargling choda can be good for you...wait'll I tell the girlfriend...!

What I picked up in its place was my copy of Greg Palast's The Best Democracy Money Can Buy (the revised American Edition).

Here's a throwaway idea to all future authors of the Truth Movement - add a coupon for a free beer redeemable ANYWHERE!

I guarantee your book will be at the head of the New York Times' Best Sellers' list in no time flat - may even surf along the Top Ten for awhile...but I digress.

The Best Democracy Money Can Buy is an excellent book - I read it from cover to cover upon its purchase. I, having recently just moved, found the book among a number of items I had stored, and I placed it aside for such a moment. And so, it rides with me today.

So, I'm reading through the first chapter, JIM CROW In Cyberspace, and my train approaches Wall Street. A "gentleman" and his toady board the train, and stand in the doorway next to my seat - sporting a copy of The Economist.

Oh, dear.

The "gentleman", upon seeing me read this book, decided that he would "ride" the pole to which my seat was attached. I've not seen anyone in a suit so comfortable with his cheeks akimbo as he was, but I guess it takes all kinds. Actually, after viewing Alex Jones' Inside Bohemian Grove, it's not so hard to contemplate such goings-on with the "respectable" members of society. If you'll remember, David Gergen blew a bloody gasket when Alex interviewed him post-BG - he accused him of masquerading as a "gentleman".

Now I know why my buddy Josh, when I regaled him as a "Southern gentleman", stated, "I may be Southern, but I'm no gentleman." Ah...but once again, I digress...

It was so hard not to rib this fellow in regards to the economy and his role in destabilizing said economy. Instead, I located a humorous quip in the book and chuckled mildly.

He departed a few stops later, with his sycophantic toady, ready to retire to take on the task of destroying America, one transaction at a time.

I kept reading - I'm almost done with the first chapter, and I plan to tell anyone who asks everything I can about the book, and the ramifications of Americans non-actions against the real ills of our society - APATHY, INDIFFERENCE and NON-BELIEF. And in re-reading it, one can now gauge how accurate Greg's writing is, ain regards to the liberties our current administration is is taking with our inalienable rights.

In response to the Russian actions in Georgia, President Chimpy actually promised "humanitarian aide" delivered by the U.S. military, before Defense Secretary Gates -- a sane man -- nixed any such actions. Then Dubya mustered the shameless audacity to say this:

"Bullying and intimidation are not acceptable ways to conduct foreign policy in the 21st Century. Only Russia can decide whether it will now put itself back on the path of responsible nations or continue to pursue a policy that promises only confrontation and isolation."

In this editorial, "Will American insouciance destroy the world?", Paul Craig Roberts cites Pravda's response (below), and concludes that the neoCONs are leading the world toward nuclear war:

The US is not a superpower. It is a bankrupt farce run by imbeciles who were installed by stolen elections arranged by Karl Rove and Diebold. It is a laughing stock, that ignorantly affronts and attempts to bully an enormous country equipped with tens of thousands of nuclear weapons.

The politics surrounding the Caspian region are extremely complex. In simple terms, there has been a tremendous amount of jockeying for control of the resources of the region for years. Currently, Russia dominates transit of Caspian Sea oil and gas. Russia was initially excluded from in the Baku-Ceyhan process.

Not surprisingly, it previously opposed the project. However, a period of détente has occurred between the U.S. and Russia over the past year and a half with respect to the Caspian region. It is now expected that Moscow will extend its blessing for the pipeline, which will open the doors for Russian oil companies to invest in this project or future projects.

The Bush Administration recently announced it is planning to deploy U.S. troops to train and equip the Georgian military to fight “a growing terrorist threat” in the remote Pankisi Gorge – a lawless region bordering the Caucasus* mountains along Georgia's northern border.

“The Bush Administration's war on terrorism is fueled by a belief shared by the United States and Georgia that al Qaeda members, and other Islamic extremists from Chechnya, have taken refuge in northern Georgia along the Chechen border.

”There is suspicion that such military cooperation will also be used to suppress dissent along the pipeline route.

In a not unrelated development, President Bush proposed to spend $98 million in his 2003 budget to help Colombia protect an oil pipeline from guerrilla attacks. This may mark a new direction in foreign policy that will encourage U.S. companies to seek government aid. Julia Nanay, Director of the Petroleum Finance Co., which advises oil companies on international affairs said, “The U.S. wants to set a precedent for Baku-Ceyhan, which is a strategic interest. It will make lenders more comfortable and could attract investors.”

What follows is yet another one of those stories, where a voter had vote selections flipped by the electronic voting system, such that candidates were chosen other than the ones intended to be selected by the voter, though no fault of his own.

But this time, the voter is me.

The ES&S electronic voting system that I used to try to vote on yesterday, ended up flipping a total of 4 out of the 12 contests and initiatives for which I had attempted to vote...

WE THE PEOPLE need to have these machines REMOVED! Electronic voting machines cannot be trusted! HAVA was a colossal failure at best, and at worst, it enabled the kind of corruption it was supposed to prevent.
