Today Was Almost The Anniversary Of Egypt's Being Turned Into A Green-Glass Parking Lot

Yes, dear readers...42 years ago, the shitty little state of Israel attempted to sink the intelligence ship U.S.S. Liberty (adorned with GTR5 on its hull) under the pretense that it was an Egyptian horse carrier (?), the El Quesir. This act, had it succeeded, would have drawn the United States into a war with Egypt, since the Israelis had utilized unmarked fighters and gunships to effect the attack. What made things infinitely worse was that President Lyndon B. Johnson and Defense Secretary Robert McNamara recalled not once, but twice, fighters called upon to defend our ship. Because of this inaction, thirty-four of our boys were murdered, and over one hundred seventy of the crew injured.

A note from Mark Glenn:

Folks,

Today is the 42nd anniversary of Israel's deliberate, pre-meditated attack on the USS Liberty resulting in the murder of 34 Americans. A week's worth of radio programs are scheduled to begin this afternoon with Mike Rivero of www.whatreallyhappened.com. The show can be found on gcnlive.com and today's program features USS LIberty survivor Ron Kukal. Tonight, Michael Collins Piper will begin the 1st of a 5-night series dealing with the subject. Several important personages, including Liberty personnel, will be appearing. The show is found at www.republicbroadcasting.org and airs at 9 pm eastern time. Please pass this info around and try to call in with your comments if possible.

Finally, we are beginning to gain ground against the beast of the east, meaning Israel. The world is waking up to the fact that we have a dangerous predator in our midst and those who yesterday thought we were crackpots today are willing to sit down, shut up and listen. Therefore let's keep the heat on and not lighten up.

Here are a few articles worth passing around I did for AFP a few years ago dealing with the Liberty issue.

thank you
