More Tolerance, I See...NOT

Jewish terrorists torch West Bank Mosque, scrawl Nazi slogans
[ 11/12/2009 - 02:16 PM ]
From Khalid Amayreh in the West Bank

In what seems to signal an escalation of organized Jewish terror against Palestinians and their property, suspected Jewish terrorists on Friday torched a mosque in the northern West Bank .

Palestinians sources said armed settlers from a nearby settlement threw flammable substance inside the Hasan Khadr Mosque at the village of Yasuf near Salfit, 15 kilometers, south west of Nablus .

The incident occurred around 4:00 am, shortly before dawn.

The suspected terrorists also scrawled Nazis slogans in Hebrew, reading “revenge” and “we will burn all of you.” Other scrawls read “price-tag-greeting from Effi” Effi is a Hebrew name.

Yasuf local council head Abdul Rahim Musleh said the fire gutted the mosque’s interior, including the carpeted floor, numerous, numerous Qurans and as well as furniture..

The targeted mosque is the largest of four mosques in the village of 2000 inhabitants.

Munir Abbushi, the governor of the Salfit district, where the terrorist act took place, accused the Israeli government and army of encouraging the settler terrorists to attack Palestinians.

“The Israeli army is doing nothing to protect the Palestinians from the settler aggression. Army inaction encourages the settlers to escalate their terror against our people and holy places,” said Abbushi.

The head of the Israeli army’s so-called Civil Administration in the West Bank , Yoav Mordechai, condemned the torching of the mosque, saying he would see to it that the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice.

However, Palestinians doubt Israeli sincerity in combating organized Jewish terror carried out by settlers indoctrinated in extremist religious ideology advocating genocide against non-Jews.

Khalid Maali, a Palestinian journalist from Salfit, attributed the incident to repeated edicts, or religious rulings, by rabbis urging settlers to kill Palestinians and vandalize their property.

“These rabbis are saying in broad daylight that it is a mitzvah (good religious deed) to murder non-Jews and destroy their property. And these terrorist settlers are simply acting on and carrying out these edicts.”

Maali charged that the Israeli government and army were legitimizing settler attacks against Palestinians by failing to apprehend and punish terrorists involved in terrorist attacks.

“This is tantamount to encouraging them to commit more terror. When these terrorist are allowed to get away with impunity, the Israeli government is effectively telling them that you can attack Palestinians and torch mosques and have nothing to worry about.”

Reactions

The torching of the Hasan Khadr mosque has drawn angry reactions from Palestinian leaders on both sides of the Green Line.

Ahmed Teibi, a prominent leader of the 1.5 million-strong Arab community in Israel , who is also a Knesset member, held Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak responsible for this “sinful act.”

“By giving these thugs (Jewish settlers) a carte blanch to maraud and rampage throughout the West Bank , the Israeli army and government are effectively encouraging them to commit crimes against the Palestinians.”

He urged the occupation army to immediately put an end to settler terror and violence before the situation gets out of hand.

The league of Muslim Ulema or religious scholars in occupied Palestine strongly condemned the “sacrilegious act,” calling on the Palestinian Authority to stop stripping Palestinians of fire arms.

“The PA has stripped the people of their arms. Now we stand unable to defend and protect ourselves. And the PA security agencies are not allowed to repulse settler attacks as their only task is to fight the resistance fighters,” said league chief Sheikh Hamed al Beitawi.

Al-Beitawi, who is also an elected member of the Palestinian legislative council who has spent years in Israeli jails for opposing the Israeli military occupation, also denounced rabbis for issuing edicts to their followers, inciting them to murder Palestinians and vandalize their property.

“These rabbis call themselves men of peace, but true men of peace don’t incite to terror and hatred and bloodshed. Imagine how these rabbis would react if a Jewish synagogue was torched in London or in Paris. They would invoke the entire history of anti-Semitism from the Spanish inquisition to the Nazi holocaust.”

Settler leaders have repeatedly said they will attack Palestinians and their property every time the Israeli army moves to vacate settlers from illegal outposts. The threats have been carried out, with settlers attacking Palestinian farmers, especially olive-pickers, businesses and now mosques.

This is not the first time Jewish terrorists attack Muslim holy places. In 1994, a Jewish terrorist who had immigrated from the United States, riddled Muslim worshipers with bullets at the Ibrahimi Mosque in downtown al Khalil, killing 29 and injuring and maiming dozens.

The terrorist, Baruch Goldstein, who was eventually killed by survivors, became a saintly figure for right-wing Jewish fanatics who advocate the extermination, enslavement or expulsion of non-Jews from mandatory Palestine (the land between the River Jordan to the Mediterranean).

The Aqsa Mosque in al Quds has also been a constant target for organized Jewish terror since Israel occupied the city from Jordan in 1967.

Similarly, other mosques, both in the West Bank and pre-1948 Palestine, have been repeatedly vandalized and desecrated by supremacist Jewish groups seeking the extirpation of non-Jews from Palestine.

What a clusterfuck. I think that "turn the other cheek" adage is going to get real old, real fast.

In other news...Adam PEARLMAN, a.k.a. Adam Gadahn, a.k.a. "Azzam The American", has released an al Qaeda tape?

What what WHAT? A Jewish male purports to be a member of a made-up organization and releases a videotape warning America?

Let me try this on for size: Hey...I'm a member of the Lollipop Guild, and I'd like to welcome you to Munchkin Land!

Tutorial: How To Extend Your Wi-Fi Coverage; Bloomberg Goes But Misses The Point

Hope that helps...in other news, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg took New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Representative Gary Ackerman to Sderot. While they were there, they were witness to a rocket attack. They actually had to run for a shelter.

Oh, those bad Palestinians...how DARE they send rockets into OCCUPIED TERRITORIES
?!?

Bloomy, I love ya...but you're on the wrong side of this issue.

From Travis Kelly (via Samizdat):

BACKSTORY —long before the current invasion and the intifadas:

"I recall the first time I heard first-hand about the type of torture that is the daily bread of people in Gaza. It was more than 20 years ago, while I was living in Japan as a student, a young Israeli who I mistook for a friend shared the following story from his days of service as an officer in Israel's "glorious" naval special-forces, or as Israelis call it, "The Commando." He told us how, as a matter of routine he and his unit would patrol the Gaza coast aboard their naval warships. As they came upon a Gazan fishing boat they would stop the boat and force the fishermen to jump into the water. Then, they would blow up the boat. Once the boat was blown to bits, the Israeli sailors would shift their attention to the helpless fishermen in the water. Under gunpoint, one by one, they would force the fishermen count from one to a hundred. One by one these men, who eventually could no longer hold themselves above water, drowned to death. This, the young Israeli officer said, was done "to instill fear in the Arabs, and to teach them who was boss."

______________________________________________________________________________

Editor's note: The above is reminiscent of Menachem Begin, who was forced to watch his father, bound and pushed into a river to drown by the Nazis. Meanwhile, the 3-year blockade of Gaza is having consequences as dire as the Nazi strangulation of the Warsaw Ghetto, as U.N. Human Rights envoy Richard Falk has struggled to convince the world, calling it a "crime against humanity." For the benefit of assholes who equate any criticism of Zionazi excesses with anti-Semitism, I will note that Falk is Jewish, as is every writer quoted in this selection.

______________________________________________________________________________

"We all live with a sense of suppressed rage. You can't look at this and not wonder how the world can stand by and watch as Jews are attacked for being Jews, by people who want to destroy them. How do people not understand there is no justification for the course Hamas is taking? There's no issue here except how quickly we can destroy them."

— Kenneth Bialkin, New York lawyer visiting Sderot

Christopher Hedges writes that Richard Falk (the U.N.'s top human rights official, who is Jewish) told him Israel’s siege has unleashed “an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe that each day poses the entire 1.5 million [population] Gazans to an unspeakable ordeal, to a struggle to survive . . . This is an increasingly precarious condition. A recent study reports that 46 per cent of all Gazan children suffer from acute anemia. There are reports that the sonic booms associated with Israeli overflights have caused widespread deafness, especially among children. Gazan children need thousands of hearing aids. Malnutrition is extremely high in a number of different dimensions and affects 75 per cent of Gazans. There are widespread mental disorders… Over 50 per cent of Gazan children under the age of 12 have been found to have no will to live."
"The Democratic party grandee Ann Lewis said recently: "The role of the president of the United States is to support the decisions that are made by the people of Israel." The statement is absurd. No country ever gave another country so blind a endorsement. Such a pure identification of interests would amount to the signing away of the conscience of the nation that granted it. We cannot make our fidelity a pawn for another's injustice; and more than conscience forbids it. Prudence also does. Even in the depths of the Second World War the U.S. never said it would support every decision made by the people of Britain, nor did it say in the Cold War that it would do whatever the people of Formosa wanted, or what the people of West Germany wanted. Such a surrender of judgment, even if it were practicable, would be a curse that harms the receiver as much as the giver."

— David Bromwich
"It was Israel at its best. In response to random attacks aimed at civilians, Israel launched precise attacks aimed at terrorists."

— Yossi Klein Halevy, New Republic column posted on December 29.
"It is important to show the people of Israel we're with them, and with the IDF. We're also here to witness this. Our own front line is the battle for the hearts and minds of the American people."

— Malcolm Hoenlein, the conference's executive vice chairman.

I was trained from an early age to view this group as my group, to identify with them emotionally, culturally, religiously. Maybe that -- and not an objective assessment of these events -- is why I continuously side with that group and see everything from its perspective and justify whatever it does, why I find the Dick Cheney/Weekly Standard/neoconservative worldview repellent in every situation except when it comes to Israel, when I suddenly find it wise and vigorously embrace it.

— American Jewish writer, in email to Salon columnist Glenn Greenwald

Is there any other significant issue in American political life, besides Israel, where (a) citizens split almost evenly in their views, yet (b) the leaders of both parties adopt identical lockstep positions which leave half of the citizenry with no real voice? More notably still, is there any other position, besides Israel, where (a) a party's voters overwhelmingly embrace one position (Israel should not have attacked Gaza) but (b) that party's leadership unanimously embraces the exact opposite position (Israel was absolutely right to attack Gaza and the U.S. must support Israel unequivocally)?

Ultimately, what is most notable about the "debate" in the U.S. over Israel-Gaza is that virtually all of it occurs from the perspective of Israeli interests but almost none of it is conducted from the perspective of American interests.

Though the ins-and-outs of Israeli grievances and strategic considerations are endlessly examined, there is virtually no debate over whether the U.S. should continue to play such an active, one-sided role in this dispute. It's the American taxpayer, with their incredibly consequential yet never-debated multi-billion-dollar aid packages to Israel, who are vital in funding this costly Israeli assault on Gaza. Just as was true for Israel's bombing of Lebanon, it's American bombs that -- with the whole world watching -- are blowing up children and mosques, along with Hamas militants, in Gaza. And it's the American veto power that, time and again, blocks any U.N. action to stop these wars.

It's one thing to argue that Israel is being both wise and just by bombing the densely populated Gaza Strip. It's another thing entirely to argue that the U.S. should use all of its resources to support Israel as it does so. Those are two entirely separate questions.

Orwell, blinding tribalism, selective Terrorism, and Israel/Gaza

by Glenn Greenwald

More to the point: for those who insist that others put themselves in the position of a resident of Sderot -- as though that will, by itself, prove the justifiability of the Israeli attack -- the idea literally never occurs to them that they ought to imagine what it's like to live under foreign occupation for 4 decades (and, despite the 2005 "withdrawal from Gaza," Israel continues to occupy and expand its settlements on Palestinian land and to control and severely restrict many key aspects of Gazan life). No thought is given to what it is like, what emotions it generates, what horrible acts start to appear justifiable, when you have a hostile foreign army control your borders and airspace and internal affairs for 40 years, one which builds walls around you, imposes the most intensely humiliating conditions on your daily life, blockades your land so that you're barred from exiting and prevented from accessing basic nutrition and medical needs for your children to the point where a substantial portion of the underage population suffers from stunted growth.

Still, there is a substantial difference between, on the one hand, basically well-intentioned people who are guilty of excessive emotional and cultural identification with one side of the dispute and, on the other, those who adopt the Goldfarb/Peretz psychopathic derangement of belittling rage over widespread civilian deaths as mere "whining" or even something to view as a strategic asset. The latter group is a subset of war supporters and evinces every defining attribute of the Terrorist.

As George Orwell wrote in Notes on Nationalism — with perfect prescience to today's endless conflicts (h/t Hume's Ghost):

All nationalists have the power of not seeing resemblances between similar sets of facts. A British Tory will defend self-determination in Europe and oppose it in India with no feeling of inconsistency. Actions are held to be good or bad, not on their own merits, but according to who does them, and there is almost no kind of outrage — torture, the use of hostages, forced labour, mass deportations, imprisonment without trial, forgery, assassination, the bombing of civilians — which does not change its moral colour when it is committed by ‘our’ side ... The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them.

So...let's see what occurs.

What Bugs Me Today

Let's start with today being the 7th anniversary of Flight 587.

Next...I want to expound briefly on the idea of "conspiracy theories".

Just what makes a theory "conspiratorial"?

If it comes against "established" fact, does that suffice?

It was once "established" that the Earth was FLAT. Everyone who fought against that idea were referred to as "heretics".

Then...one day, it was proven that the Earth was NOT FLAT.

So...the "facts" were changed to fit the available evidence contradicting the former conclusions held.

Why then, now that it is clear to any rational-thinking human being, that the events of September 11th, 2001 could NOT possibly have occurred the way it has been presented by our text and print media, are there individuals who insist on labeling any discourse regarding establishing a truer perspective of the events as "conspiracy theory"?

The Social Science Research Network has made available an abstract by Cass R. Sunstein [Harvard University - Harvard Law School]and Adrian Vermeule [Harvard University - Harvard Law School] that purports to posit that merely holding contrary thoughts to badly-established "facts" is in fact a form of "terrorism".

Here's the abstract:

Abstract:
Many millions of people hold conspiracy theories; they believe that powerful people have worked together in order to withhold the truth about some important practice or some terrible event. A recent example is the belief, widespread in some parts of the world, that the attacks of 9/11 were carried out not by Al Qaeda (note from hANOVER fIST - since "al Qaeda" has been proven to be an absolute fiction, shouldn't anyone regard any actions ascribed to this fictional group as CONSPIRACY? Just wondering if we can be consistent in our thinking...), but by Israel or the United States. Those who subscribe to conspiracy theories may create serious risks, including risks of violence, and the existence of such theories raises significant challenges for policy and law. The first challenge is to understand the mechanisms by which conspiracy theories prosper; the second challenge is to understand how such theories might be undermined. Such theories typically spread as a result of identifiable cognitive blunders, operating in conjunction with informational and reputational influences. A distinctive feature of conspiracy theories is their self-sealing quality. Conspiracy theorists are not likely to be persuaded by an attempt to dispel their theories; they may even characterize that very attempt as further proof of the conspiracy. Because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups. Various policy dilemmas, such as the question whether it is better for government to rebut conspiracy theories or to ignore them, are explored in this light.

So...what are your thoughts in regards to the information presented?

This was offered as proof that I, and many other individuals, were "ignoring reality".

So the fact that FIRE CANNOT BRING DOWN STEEL STRUCTURES is something I should just ignore?

I should just ingest mood-altering pharmaceuticals and get over it?

Hell no.

Explosive Breaking News

Bin Laden-Gate is Still Bush-Clinton Gate

by Tom Heneghan
International Intelligence Expert

Tuesday November 11, 2008

United States of America – It can now be reported that CNN Network (202) 898-7900, along with rogue Israeli Mossad-Pentagon forces, are trying once again to play the "Osama bin Laden" card aka CIA asset Tim Osman.

Remember Osama bin Laden has been dead for seven (7) years.

The purpose of this propaganda is to create a script involving a FALSE FLAG terrorist attack that would take place on American soil between now and November 22nd.

The Bush-Clinton Crime Family Syndicate, now boxed into a corner on various fronts, needs some type of terrorist event to:

1. Continue to freeze the CIA asset Tim Osman aka Osama bin Laden CIA custodial proprietary accounts for the purpose of reneging on the implementation of the Wanta-Reagan-Mitterrand Protocols, and

2. Create an emergency condition that would force president-elect Barack Obama to stack his cabinet with neocon fascist types, aka former Clinton Assistant Attorney General Jamie Gorelick.

Note: Gorelick, along with Clinton Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr, covered up the original IraqGate scandal tied to illegal arms trafficking to the Middle East linking both the Bushes and Clintons and various Canadian banking interests.

As a 9/11 Commission member, TRAITOR Jamie Gorelick conspired to cover up and kept from the American People the documented evidence of TREASON that non-inaugurated, duly elected President Albert Gore Jr. submitted to the 9/11 Commission detailing the 9/11 BLACK OP attacks on America.

Jamie Gorelick received over $26 MILLION from the now bankrupt Fannie Mae.

Gorelick, also a former 9/11 Commission Member, was the chief architect of creating a wall between the CIA and FBI when it came to identifying various terrorist groups, including their financial support system, which was the noted East German DVD Deutsche Bank.

Gorelick was also part of the team that included both Clintons, former President George Herbert Walker Bush, along with former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that frustrated and compromised the attempt by Ambassador Leo Wanta, French President Francois Mitterrand, former FBI Director William Sessions, General Vernon Walters and former Vice President Albert Gore Jr.'s attempt to arrest noted Bush-Clinton bagman and fixer, Israeli Mossad and East German DVD agent Marc Rich aka Hans Brand.

In other news...there's the matter of a rapist/murderer by the name of Joseph McGowan - read on:

Rosemarie and Joan D'Alessandro

On Thursday, April 19, 1973 Joan D’Alessandro, a joyful, brave, seven-year old Brownie Scout was delivering Girl Scout cookies to her neighbor when she disappeared. A high school chemistry teacher who lived three doors down later plead guilty to her murder. After Joan was sexually assaulted and murdered the Girl Scouts changed their rules for all children to prevent another such tragedy.

When Joan's killer became eligible for parole in 1993, Rosemarie D'Alessandro organized a letter writing, green ribbon campaign that led officials to deny the parole. (Joan’s favorite color was green and the ribbons symbolize, “Remember Joan Today So Tomorrow’s Children Will Be Safe.”) The idea that a child murderer could be released from prison spurred Rosemarie to work for passage of a mandatory minimum sentencing law. After 3 years of lobbying, a bill denying the possibility of parole to offenders who murder while committing a sex crime was passed by the New Jersey Legislature in April 1997. Following that victory, Rosemarie spearheaded a successful campaign for a federal version of "Joan's Law," which was signed by President Bill Clinton in October 1998. All the while her daughter’s killer continued to file appeals to his sentence paid for by a sizeable inheritance. This led Rosemarie to protect other victims by designing a bill eliminating New Jersey's 2 year statute of limitations on suing murderers, which passed in November 2000. Then after four years of work “Joan’s Law" became the law in New York State in 2004. Her sons Michael and John, born after Joan was killed, have also been advocates for the legislation. In addition to her legislative efforts, Rosemarie reaches out to abused and neglected children through The Joan Angela D’Alessandro Foundation she established in 1998. In 2004 she received the Attorney General’s Special Courage Award for her efforts.

In early 2009 Joseph McGowan will be eligible for parole again because "Joan’s Law" is not retroactive. The movement will continue as we unite our communities to protect all children and keep child killers in prison because that is where they belong.

Why would parole even be considered for this piece of sub-human garbage?

Don't even get me started on the financial rape of Americans...I'll leave you with this:
